A great setting, lovely inside plus outside seating. Friendly and helpful staff The food and drinks were lovely. We had lunch-jacket potato, sausage sandwich and toasted teacake with lattes. All delicious although we didn't sample the beautiful cakes that were on offer, maybe next time. Well worth a visit. We would recommend
I recently visited this wonderful park cafe and had a great experience with my family. Set inside the park, it offers a great setting that enhances the overall ambiance. The cafe provides tables both inside and out, so you can choose to dine indoors or enjoy the park scenery outside. The food was lovely and came in massive portions. The open club sandwich was a particularly generous serving. Given how busy it gets, it's advisable to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Overall, it's a fantastic place that's perfect for all the family.
Food was delicious! Sophie and Daisy were our servers they were so helpful, efficient and so friendly. will definitely be making a return!
Really liked it. A couple of lovely gluten free cake options. Cracking coffee, really good. Lovely interior and they were happy with dirty MTBers sitting inside. There's outdoor seating as well and a couple of bike storage places.
I recently visited this amazing cafe, the service was 10/10 and everyone was so lovely. We sat outside for abit while it was sunny and the went inside and both was perfect. Would definitely recommend!!
Visited The Shelter for the first time today, a raffle prize of a breakfast or lunch for 2. Wow!!! It was amazing. My quiche salad was really generous and so tasty. Partners breakfast was also generous that he regretfully struggled to finish it. Staff were friendly and courteous and we didn't have to wait very long for our meals. It was well worth the hour journey to get there, but we go there again.
Lovely cafe! I had a gluten free caesar salad, which was the best I’ve ever had. Bibi was very thorough and knowledgeable about allergens, which i appreciated. Would recommend and will go back!
Had a wonderful brunch and coffee here with friends this morning. Great menu, substantial portions and great coffee. Perfect spot for dogs and staff lovely. We'll be back.
